I finally settled into my new place.. I have a table and a chair! Whee!

So i get to blog! muahahahaha! But guess what? after weeks of compiling pictures to blog.. i realized that i'm too lazy to do it.. hehehe =P

Anyhow, last week (?).. i can't remember when.. Joon decided to cook for Mune and me.. so we went to the korean supermarket to get korean ingredients to make korean food! *yum yum*

I assembled the drawers wrong.. so now i have to live with it because there is no way to re-do it.. and there is little pieces of wood flying around my room and in my carpet and my body is itching everywhere >.<

I finally moved out of my shitty apartment! Wheee!

But i'm staying in Queens now. Not in Manhattan. Sad.

But everything else is good!

I'm staying in an actual house now. So it's really nice. And the kitchen is so beautiful. I don't know how that is related but I really love the kitchen.

My room is still unfurnished now. Just one matress that I bought from Joon for $50. I don't know whether it's worth it. But he gave me a bedsheet, a blanket, and a chair for free! So it's all good.

Going to Ikea to buy furniture this Sunday. Whee!

Ikea is in New Jersey. So I gotta take a bus from somewhere. And I think it takes 2 hours or something like that. Thennn.. have to carry all the furniture I buy all the way to Queeeeens!

If you're reading this, you must be feeling really confused right? Coz 1 minute i'm so happy and excited. And the next minute I'm like so whiny. Hahaha!

Anywayz, I will upload pictures once I get my furniture and decorate my room nicely! I'm so excited! Can't wait for Sunday! =)

About uploading my films, I'm still trying to figure it out. =(

I MisS EveRyOne! >.<

I just suddenly felt that I miss everyone a lot (Yes, even you, Mom!).. I really do.. I miss Malaysian foood.. I miss Malaysian weather (believe it or not).. And I miss Malaysian people (well, not the people in general.. but you! yes, you! reading my blog.. you are amongst the best Malaysians i know.. be honored.. be very honored!)! Hahaha.. i don't know what i'm saying..

Anyway.. there's not one day that goes by when I don't bump into a crazy person in New York! But it's all good fun! Hehe

And.. And I'm trying very hard not to do my story board for my next film.. and my shot list.. and my shooting schedule.. gahh! (I have to hand it in tmr by the way.. hehe)

I'm in a very different crew this week.. So i'm pretty sad.. I hope that I can get along with my new crew.. I'm really excited about shooting though.. This week's movie is a Music Film! Awesomeness. =D

I need ideas for my first movie with dialogue! I'll be pitching the script next week.. So if anyone has any good ideas.. please let me know! I'll put your name in the credits! Serious.

Update on bleeding feet: Still bleeding and has turned very very hard! When i touch it, it feels like a tree bark and it hurts like.. omg! i can't describe the pain but i just touched it 3 times, trying to figure out the word!.. it hurts so bad! >.< color="#cc33cc">coz i just bought 2 new books! Nothing makes me happier than.. beautiful, undamaged books that are interesting! whee! =)

Shooting Continuity Film

Just so you know.. This is going to be a super long post.. Hehe.. I had a looooong weekend..

Just have to say that.. I never ever ever get the weekend to myself! Boo-Hoo! I need some ME-time.. Hahahaha

Anywayz.. It all started on Thursday when we have to check-out our equipment to shoot our film over the weekend..

We got into a taxi because the three of us (Sebastian, Asha, and me) had to carry ALL the equipment to Sebastian's house and there was no way we could do it so we took a taxi.

As usual, I got all jakun-ed up and started picture snapping. And Sebastian said, "Hmm, Rachel, you really like taking pictures don't you?" Well, it doesn't sound funny when i type it out but he said it in the most sarcastic way ever. Hahaha

The taxi was super big by the way.. So we could put all our equipment at our feet.

Then on Friday.. We went to shoot Sebastian and Asha's film in Sebastian's house. And as usual, I got lost on the way there. But it's all good.. I got to take a long walk with my starbucks coffee in hand and i finally bumped into Asha and her actor, who were also lost. But we made it in the end. Yay us!

I didn't take any pictures of Asha's shoot because I was DP (Director of Photography), which is just a high class name for a camera man. Hehe.. It was a fun shoot eventhough I had to get into weird positions with the camera and ended up hurting my shoulder.

After that, we went for lunch. And while we were out, Sebastian was waiting for his actor and actress to arrive. When we got back, he told us that his actress canceled and I had to act for him. So i did. Hehe.. His story is about a wife murdering her husband. Funny.

Sebastian even asked his actor to choose the "blood" of his choice.

On Saturday morning.. We went to shoot Seung's (my new crew member) film. Again, no pictures coz I was the DP. We shot the film outdoors and it was so freezing cold that my skin cracked all over until it started bleeding and i can see my flesh. It's a pretty gross sight.

Then in the evening, we went to shoot my film.. Whee! Joon (the one in my crew) let me use his house, he's so nice! (Thank you, Joon!)

Everyone was really tired by then but they were still so nice and helpful.. Hehe..

After Joon and YoHei left, we wanted to have a celebratory dinner but no one wanted to go out to buy the food and drinks because we were all too tired and lazy. But all of a sudden, Asha screamed! And everyone was like, "What?"

And then I saw a rat running! And I screamed! And me and Asha was like "RATTTT!!"

Then, everyone started jumping on the furniture. Joon was the most terrified and it's HIS apartment. Hahaha. Then Sebastian started going around with his camera and taking videos of everyone's expression.

After that, Sebastian got a brilliant idea to chase the rat around with our lighting kit. It was so funny that I had to take pictures. But when I ask him to pose for the camera.. He was like, "Sorry, Rachel. Real life, real problems."

We didn't catch the mouse in the end. But everyone ended up going to buy the food and drinks together because no one wanted to stay in the house with the rat. So we went. And bought a gigantic pizza and some beers! Yum yum.

We were waiting for Sebastian to come eat and I introduced camwhoring to them. Look at Seung! Hahaha

After dinner, we were all tired and full.

On Sunday.. What do you know? Shooting again! Bahh! Didn't even have time to rest.. =(

We were shooting Joon's film.. And Sebastian was his actor. And a very pretty HyoJu unnie was his actress.

On a more stressful note.. I regret buying a stupid acerrrrr!! OmG! Everything runs on a Mac here.. I bought a hard drive and I can only use it on a dumb dumb Mac computer! That means I can't open in on windows and i can't edit my videos on my own laptop. This really sucks. It really does.

And all the editing software that i installed on my acer is good for nothing. I hate this.

And YouTube is being very cacat. I'm trying to upload my mise en scene but it keeps asking me to confirm something. Boo!

BaLLeT FLats

Whoever said ballet flats were the most comfortable shoes in the world, was lying! *cough* sheryl *cough*

I brought a pair with me and bought another 2 when I got here. They were so pretty and I was so excited! Hehehe

But.. I was wronggggg!

I've been wearing them everyday since I got here coz I'm too lazy to wear socks and the Nike shoes I got are too small for me. And guess what?

The back of my feet have been bleeding for 2 weeks and there is no way to stop it! There's blood all over my shoes.. Gross right? Hehe

Can't wait for the weather to be warm so that I can wear flip flops everywhere I go! Muahahaha
